“I still don’t feel I’ve reached my great voice potential”. Well, I think right THEN at that point in her career was IT. Whitney probably really felt upset when she really realized her voice wasn’t as good as it was.

You think so? I find that her voice was at its peak at the I’m your baby tonight era. Not that i see a big difference duting the Bodyguard. But i finally decided after years and years of Whitney that her voice on All the man that i need is just how i prefer it.
I love Whitney very very much but sad to ay her voice is gone…taken away and his her voice reaching peak perfection was during the bodyguard days and its all over now but I wish her well in her comeback efforts. I love miss Whitney…

Yea people dont understand that Whitney is a down home girl just like alot of people are.. She learned in the business the big difference of being a Black singer singing White oriented music(pop).. They luv her voice but try to drag her thru the dirt at the same time for being true to who she is.. I’m glad she has come out of that Fake Image.. sometimes its not like we all picture it..
That is my FAVORITE movie of all times, she did GREAT on the film and you couldn’t really tell that it was her 1st time.
The beauty of her voice is what she was blessed with and shares the world with. GIVE HER A BREAK AND CONGRADULATE HER COMEBACK!
And how did she fool people into thinking she was elegant and sweet. Obviously youv’e come to the conclusion that all celebrities are perfect. She is entitled to be human, and can’t be perfect and sweet every second of every day of every year. Just beacusue she’s famous doesn’t mean she’s absolutely innocent and perfect.
Well of course your going to criticize her first film. It is her “first” film by the way, i mean give her a break. Since when have you seen a new actor/actress ever do amazingly fantastic on their first film. She had nothing to compare it to at the time.
Thank you. Finally someone with sense enough to know that Whitney was always that girl, but it was hidden (as you said, thanks to Clive Davis). You can’t pretend forever to be someone you’re not. And I guess she got tired of acting. People say she can’t act (look at “The Bodyguard”), but for years she fooled people into believing that she was this elegant, sweet woman. I call that some good acting.
